George writes widely on climate change issues including articles for The New Statesman, The Guardian, New Scientist and The Ecologist. He has written two books: Carbon Detox (Hamlyn Gaia, 2010) which addresses personal behaviour, and Don’t Even Think About It: Why Our Brains Are Wired To Ignore Climate Change (Bloomsbury US, 2014) which explores the reasons for our collective denial and was described by The Guardian as “one of the most important books on climate change in recent years”
